2009 Great American Cake Show.  
Her off-set tiers, hand made
grass, and whimsical colors were
a winning combination.

character, battling King
Dedede for the 2009 Great
American Cake Show.
I challenged my kids to try out cake decorating.  
Kelsey (15), Chance (11), and Allison (18) have
shown great talent and entered nearby cake
competitions.  This page has some of their
amazing cakes.  And Baking Buyer magazine
did a story on us in May -

Allison entered this sugar sculpture
in the adult beginner category for
Special Techniques at the 2009 Great
American Cake Show.  She got First
Place for this colorful and detailed
shipwreck!
Allison made this for her English class'
end of school year party.  Her books
had realistic leather texture, gold title
embossing, and gilded pages.
